Margaret Clark It is with great sadness we announce the death of Margaret Ckark. Margaret was a club member for many years, playing with Pat Marson and guest appearing with others when Pat was not available. Always a welcome presence at all tables, Margaret will be sadly missed. |

Virtual Bridge Club (online) |
We have joined with Leven and Glenrothes to form a temporary online 'local club'.
This will, hopefully, give us the numbers that we need to play meaningful games online on the Bridge Base Online (BBO) platform.
The first online event will be on Wednesday, 26th August at 7.00 p.m. We will play 18 boards. 'Table money' for this session will be BB$2, thereafter we will aim to play 24 boards each session with table money set at BB$3.
Before you are able to play, we need to have your BBO username on our club records via MEMPAD. If you haven't done this already there is some guidance on the SBU website . Alternatively get in touch with me, Mike, at gallacher_m@sky.com and I'll do it for you.
Note the operation of this online bridge club will be through Leven Bridge club and further information can be found on its website (Click here)

Play it again |
The website has a new "Play it again" function.
When you're reviewing your performance on a hand, click the Play it again button below and to the right of the displayed hand. This allows you to download the hand directly into bridge software that you may have on your computer, including BBO.
Clicking Play it again gives details of the programs supported and how to use the facility.
It's an instant hit in our house .
