Kincardine Charity Bridge Club
Our Charity Work

In the last 10 years, KCBC has donated over $50 000 to the Huron Shores Hospice, the Women's House Serving Grey and Bruce, and the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.

Thanks to the Davidson Centre and the Town of Kincardine for providing an excellent venue for our games.

Thanks also for the support of the excellent staff at the Davidson Centre.

With great sadness we announce that Jane Guest passed away Thursday after a brief battle with cancer.

Jane was a long time valued member and volunteer of this bridge club and a trusted friend to many of us.

She will be sorely missed by the club, her bridge partners, her many friends, the community, and her family.

To honour Jane, our annual July club championship games will now be called the Jane Guest championship games.

We can all honour Jane by playing well and being courteous, friendly, trustworthy, and honourable, like Jane.

A remembrance for Jane will be held Thursday July 18 2:30-4:30 at George's restaurant on Harbour Street.

Congratulations to Lee Gallacher and Carol Macdonnell - Jane Guest Friday Club champions on July 12.

Congratulations to Guy and Sheila Murray - Jane Guest Monday Club champions on July 15.

Thanks to Sheila Murray, Guy Murray, Bev Harris, Jane Guest, and Doug Bieman for their contributions to the KCBC. There would be no bridge club without their enthusiasm, effort, advice, and support.

Thanks to Nancy Craig, Steve Jolley, Susan Martin, Susan Morrison, Steve Watson, and Rose Marie Young for their assistance with our lesson sessions.

♥   Thanks to Steve Jolley for his technical assistance and his editing help with our daily bridge email.
