Bulletin

As a result of the heightened risk of contributing to the spread of the COVID-19 virus it has been decided to temporarily suspend our weekly bridge competition.    This decesion has been made to help protect all our members and will be kept under review as more information becomes available.

Welcome to Killyleagh Bridge Club
A Message From The Club Chairman

In a previous announcement on our website I had indicated that as an emergency measure and in order to keep our Killyleagh Bridge Club identity we were going to play on line as part of Kevin Hinds Online Bridge (NI).   This was scheduled to start in September but this has now been cancelled due to Kevin Hinds’s serious health problems.   The NIBU online tournaments are ongoing, with details on the NIBU site, as is the Diane Greenwood competition on Wednesday evenings and I would encourage anyone who is interest in playing online try these events.  Unfortunately NIBU to not have the resources to organise an alternative competition to the one that was being set up by Kevin Hinds.

These remain challenging times and your committee will continue to monitor events and will keep in contact with members with a view to recommencing club activities as quickly as possible.
