Fleming Femina / Hunter Homines - Sunday 9th January 2022 (pre-weekend)

Prizes: £30 winners, £15 second (per pair)

Kent's next championship events are the Fleming Femina (Ladies pairs) and Hunter Homines (Men's pairs). Around 36-40 boards with a break half way through of around 40 minutes. [Session 1: 1pm - 3.15pm (18-20 boards), Session 2: 4pm - 6.15pm (18-20 boards)]

Sunday 9th January 2022 online, either RealBridge or BBO, whichever platform is indicated most popular on entries). 1pm start. 

£6 per person [£12 per pair, payable in advance]. Prizes for top pairs, and leading pairs NGS9 and below.

Corbett League - Club Teams of Eight (Copy)

Corbett League (inter-club teams of 8) entry forms have been sent out to all clubs. For information, using the results from January 2019 the divisions consist of the following teams. Clubs who have not entered before are very welcome to enter this year (or current clubs may enter an extra team) and all new teams will play in the Buck Cup. Each event is around 48 boards, played on one day over the weekend 25-26th January 2020. The Larsky Cup - Semifinals

The Larsky Cup is the Kent Pairs Championship, local points in the heats and semifinal, Green points in the final.

The club heat stage is now over. Many clubs held heats on normal club nights. Any pair gaining 50% or more has qualified for one of the semifinals (26 board event) and can choose from: 

     Farnborough Monday 3rd February 7:30pm, [Venue: The Village Hall, High Street, Farnborough, Kent. BR6 7BB (Opposite the Woodman Public House]

     Maidstone Tuesday 11th February 7:25pm [VenueCivil Service Club, Recreation Close, ME14 5AZ]

     Tunbridge Wells Wednesday 19th February 7:30pm [Venue40 London Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 1DL - note no parking allowed in club car park even for club members (car park is reserved for those playing in CLUB duplicate), please park on road]

     Tyler Hill Sunday 23rd February 2:30pm [Venue: Memorial Hall, Summer Lane, Summer Hill, Tyler Hill]

Paul Gibbons will contact players after they have qualified from a club heat and ask for their choice of semifinal.

From these semifinals, the top 26 pairs will qualify for the final being held at the Maidstone Civil Service Club on Saturday 21st March at 1.30pm

There will be two 18 board sessions - you can play 11am - 1.15pm   or   2.30pm - 4.45pm    or both

In between you can book a two course lunch for £14 per head i.e. tasty buffet lunch with salad, potatoes / bread and choice of desserts (1.15pm - 2.15pm)

Fleming Femina / Hunter Homines 2023

Kent's next pairs event is the Fleming Femina (Ladies pairs) and Hunter Homines (Men's pairs). £13 per player (same price as 2020). Prizes to top two in each event (1st: £68 & 2nd: £34 Mens,  £63, £31 in ladies). 

Sunday 15th January 2023 at Tunbridge Wells BC, 11am start. We offer comfortable playing conditions with an optional really tasty two course lunch to pre book at £12.50 per person.
