To all bridge clubs and organisations in Kent

As I am sure you are all aware, the EBU has joined forces with Cancer Research UK to raise money for charity and to promote the game of bridge. It's not only Bridge Clubs that can get involved. Bridge is played in Golf Clubs and U3A groups for example and all are invited to support BIABD and at the same time support Cancer Research UK.

Players too can support BIABD by holding bridge games at home. Rubber bridge, Chicago, Teams matches - all are fun and can be used to support BIABD.

The Festival of Bridge will take place during the week commencing 9th September 2024 and we hope all clubs will take part in some way. We would also encourage any clubs or members to reach out to any other groups who play bridge to participate: these may include U3A groups, golf clubs or private games as mentioned. We want to include all bridge players and not just EBU members. There are plenty of ideas available on the EBU website.

We do hope that all clubs will hold an event of some sort and we look forward to hearing of your plans so that we can add them to the map of events and publicise them.
