Sunday 19th July 2026 - Phillimore Cup (Blue pointed Swiss pairs) 11am to approx 6pm. 

Click here to enter online.  6 x 8 board matches.         A two course lunch may be booked

     MENU: Cold Salmon, Coronation Chicken, Vegetable Quiche, Various Salads, New Potatoes, French bread and butter

     Puddings:- Summer Pudding, Baked Basque cheese cake with Mango & Passion Fruit Coulis 

As usual, 20% of entry fees for Prizes and playing in the comfortable surrounding of Tunbridge Wells Bridge Club

If you are looking for a partner please add your name to the  FIND A PARTNER FOR KENT EVENTS

This event is suitable for players of all standards since after round 1, you play against a pair with the same score as yourself.

There will be an additional prize for the Leading NE pair (both players NGS 9 and below)

Good and free parking is available in the TWBC car park, along the London Road or on the Common (directions will be sent with joining instructions) and can be seen here

PLEASE NOTE   Currently there is no standby pair, so the last pair that enters may not be able to play unless there is an even number of pair playing

If you live near Tunbridge Wells and are willing to be on standby to play in case there is a half table, please let us know  using KCBAcompetitions@gmail.com. You get a free entry into the Phillimore Swiss Pairs, parking at the club and travelling expenses to the club (and if you do not play, free entry to another Kent event).

We invite you to enter Kent's  face-to-face event just for players graded 2-9 on the NGS, playing in the comfortable surroundings of one of the venues where

The NS/EW winners / Howell winners get a free Saturday game. After each event a commentary on the hands is sent out to all players.

The organisers check the NGS grades via an automated check on the EBU database on Friday afternoon and would be grateful if pairs would enter by 12noon on Friday. Any entries after this time need to be manually checked and incur extra work. Many thanks
