We are sorry to report that that Chris Lohan passed away recently.

Chris was formerly the Adult Education Officer for KCBA from 2016-2021. She was a highly respected member of committee at Folkestone Bridge Club where she worked diligently to bring new teachers into our community. Her own contribution to teaching bridge in Kent, as a Professional Teacher, was outstanding, and she will be sorely missed by her family, friends and former students.

This event is suitable for players of all standards since after round 1, you play against a pair with the same score as yourself.

There will be an additional prize for the Leading NE pair (both players NGS 9 and below)

Good and free parking is available in the TWBC car park, along the London Road or on the Common (directions will be sent with joining instructions) and can be seen here

PLEASE NOTE   Currently there is no standby pair, so the last pair that enters may not be able to play unless there is an even number of pair playing.

We invite you to enter Kent's face-to-face just for players graded 2-9 on the NGS, playing in the very comfortable surroundings of

Tunbridge Wells Bridge Club. [40 London Road, Tunbridge Wells TN1 1DL]      

There will be two 18 board sessions - you can play 11am - 1.15pm   or   2.30pm - 4.45pm    or both

In between you can book a two course lunch for £15 per head i.e. tasty buffet lunch with salad, potatoes or bread and dessert (1.15pm - 2.15pm). 

MENU:   Beef Lasagne, Thai Chicken Salad, Vegetable Quiche, New Potatoes, Various Salads, French Bread and Butter

               DESSERT: Pistachio Cheese Cake, Strawberry meringue
