This event is suitable for players of all standards since after round 1, you play against a pair with the same score as yourself.

There will be an additional prize for the Leading NE pair (both players NGS 9 and below)

Good and free parking is available in the TWBC car park, along the London Road or on the Common (directions will be sent with joining instructions) and can be seen here

PLEASE NOTE   Currently there is no standby pair, so the last pair that enters may not be able to play unless there is an even number of pair playing. The last opportunity for more boards to be duplicated is Thursday, so bookings may close midnight Wed.

If you live near Tunbridge Wells and are willing to be on standby to play in case there is a half table, please let us know  using KCBAcompetitions@gmail.com. You get a free entry into the Phillimore Swiss Pairs, parking at the club and travelling expenses to the club (and if you do not play, free entry to another Kent event).

We invite you to enter Kent's face-to-face just for players graded 2-9 on the NGS, playing in the very comfortable surroundings of

Tunbridge Wells Bridge Club. [40 London Road, Tunbridge Wells TN1 1DL]      

There will be two 18 board sessions - you can play 11am - 1.15pm   or   2.30pm - 4.45pm    or both

In between you can book a two course lunch for £16 per head i.e. tasty buffet lunch with salad, potatoes or bread and dessert (1.15pm - 2.15pm). 

MENU:   Beef Lasagne, Thai Chicken Salad, Vegetable Quiche, New Potatoes, Various Salads, French Bread and Butter

               DESSERT: Pistachio Cheese Cake, Strawberry meringue

Kent's Mixed Pairs - SUNDAY 4th October 2026, 1pm start - online via BBO

Open to all KCBA primary and associate members, only £6 per player. Around 36-39 boards will be played.

Prizes:  using 20% of entry fees, to top 10% of players.    

Starting at 1pm with an approx finishing time of 6pm.  Competitions Secretary for this event is Stephen Brown
