Martin Cosh |
65 friends and former colleagues met at Kenilworth Bridge Club, on Wednesday 2nd July, to celebrate Martin's life and reminisce about the times we have shared with him.

We are very sad to report that Martin Cosh passed away on 2 June following a long period of poor health which he bore stoically.
Martin had an encyclopaedic knowledge of KBC. He had been a scorer, TD, duplimator , committee member, treasurer (twice), company secretary and Chairman. Since stepping back from these roles, he still provided 24/7 computer support; always willing to give advice or turn out to solve the problem. He was familiar with all the idiosyncrasies of the KBC systems and produced many useful notes for us. He very patiently taught many of us to score. This spring he devised and helped us to organise the very successful, “Handicapped pairs “event in club .
He was a perfect partner, always positive and charming to play with.
His other passion was cricket. He loved watching county and international matches, particularly test cricket. We will miss him

KBC/KCC Parking |
The Cricket Club owns the property and we lease our part of the building and share the use of the car park. Now sessions are becoming busier, we do need to remember the parking rules and ensure that we park with due consideration for other users. Usually the parking arrangements for KBC members should be as follows
- First arrivals to park up to the fence line adjacent to the new housing
- The next row (and subsequent rows) must be parked hard up to the first row. Do not leave space for vehicle movements. It is not necessary as we all leave at the same time .
- Emergency vehicle access to our front door should be maintained at all times. Do not park in such a way as to obstruct this.
- Leave access clear to the parking spaces for those with disabilities.
Finally and importantly
- Please do not park on the grass
- Please do not park against the walls of the Cricket club
Occasionally there may be a need for a different parking arrangement and if that is the case someone will be there to direct you.
Thank you for your compliance.
