Supervised Play Wednesday Evenings for new players.
On Wednesday evenings from 7th August there will be new supervised play sessions from 7-9 pm. You do not need a partner. There will be experienced players on hand to answer questions and to assist you. This will be an opportunity to practise and consolidate the theory you have learned so far in a very relaxed playing session. You can ask for as much help as you need. The only way to get to grips with this game is to play …and play …and play .
Tea and coffee will be served during the evening.
Cost £5 charged to your KBC members account .

| Charity Duplicate bridge at KBC : Saturday morning 17th August |
Kenilworth Bridge Club is running a charity duplicate event on Saturday morning 17th August, in support of Cancer Research UK
in association with the EBU under its Bridge - It's a Big Deal! a festival of bridge.
You don't need a partner as a host will be available.
This event is open to everyone, you do not need to be a member of the club to attend.
Cost will be £7.50 which will include a duplicate bridge session with tea/coffee and cakes.
All the table money will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
9.30am for 9.45am start.

Both similar, relaxed duplicate sessions for people wanting to play at a gentle pace, develop their game and generally enjoy their bridge.
Also aimed at new players who would like to get used to playing in our regular duplicate sessions.

| Steve Green's Master Classes Stratford upon Avon Bridge Club |
INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED TRAINING
Master Class run by Steve Green, England International at Stratford upon Avon bridge Club.
The session is aimed at NGS grade 7 or above, although anyone can attend.Steve’s sacrificing ready reckoner guide is amazing and not in any bridge books.
1.30pm – Wednesday 21 August: Slams: Bidding and Opening Leads
This will be an interactive sessions lasting 3-3.5 hrs. Ideally sign up as a partnership to gain most benefit from the sessions.
Cost is £24 per session, payable on the day, by debit card

| KBC/KCC Parking |
The Cricket Club owns the property and we lease our part of the building and share the use of the carpark. Now sessions are becoming busier we do need to remember the parking rules and ensure that we park with due consideration for other users. Usually the parking arrangements for KBC members should be as follows
- DO NOT park on the grass
- First arrivals to park up to the fence line adjacent to the building works
- The next row (and subsequent rows) must be parked hard up to the first row. Do not leave space for vehicle movements. It is not necessary as we all leave at the same time .
- DO NOT park against the walls of the Cricket club
- Emergency vehicle access to our front door should be maintained at all time. Do not park in such a way as to obstruct this.
- Leave access clear to the parking spaces for those with disabilities.
Occasionally there may be a need for a different parking arrangement and if that is the case someone will be there to direct you.
