| Happy 103rd birthday to Harry Collings |
Happy 103rd Birthday to Harry Collings at Kenilworth Bridge Club
On the 25th March 2026, Kenilworth Bridge Club, celebrated the 103rd birthday, of club member, Harry Collings, with wine and birthday cake. Harry is the oldest player at Kenilworth and regularly plays on a Wednesday afternoon.
Harry did not learn to play bridge until he was 60, when he started playing at his local golf club in Coventry. He then regularly played bridge with his wife for many years. In March 2020, during Covid, the club moved online, and Harry bought his first computer and taught himself how to use it, so that he could play with the club on BBO. Thereafter he regularly played twice a week online.
We believe that Harry is quite possibly the oldest EBU member who still regularly plays bridge and is an example of the health benefits of playing bridge.

| KBC/KCC Parking |
The Cricket Club owns the property and we lease our part of the building and share the use of the car park. Now sessions are becoming busier, we do need to remember the parking rules and ensure that we park with due consideration for other users. Usually the parking arrangements for KBC members should be as follows
- First arrivals to park up to the fence line adjacent to the new housing
- The next row (and subsequent rows) must be parked hard up to the first row. Do not leave space for vehicle movements. It is not necessary as we all leave at the same time .
- Emergency vehicle access to our front door should be maintained at all times. Do not park in such a way as to obstruct this.
- Leave access clear to the parking spaces for those with disabilities.
Finally and importantly
- Please do not park on the grass
- Please do not park against the walls of the Cricket club
Occasionally there may be a need for a different parking arrangement and if that is the case someone will be there to direct you.
Thank you for your compliance.
