Endplay is a valuable technique in the armoury as the lead is made, dummy goes down and options are evaluated for a maximum result.

** Roman Key Card Black wood:  5 Key cards (4 aces and K trumps)

Sometimes an opponent can be endplayed with his trump trick.  

Win the diamond lead, cash two rounds of trumps leaving East with ♥ Q.

Cross to ♠ A to ruff dummy's remaining diamond, cash the spade winners and play clubs from the top.

If East ruffs he must give a ruff and discard, allowing you ro discard a club loser; if he refuses to ruff you can endplay him with his trump trick.
