KDBC Fall Bridge Lesson Series
Saturdays at 10am.

What: A new lesson series intended for a wide spectrum of learners who have some previous exposure to the game, ranging from some social bridge to regular participation in duplicate games, and who are interested in improving their existing skills in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Where: Seniors Centre, 56 Francis St. (membership in the Seniors Association is not required)
When: Saturdays, 10 am - noon
Cost: $10 per lesson, pay-as-you-go at the door (cash only please; no pre-registration required)

Our gathering with Jerry on Sunday May 28 was fun, exciting and informative. 24 members joined in.
To begin, Jerry went over 3 hands that members sent in advance. Jerry 's approach is to offer ideas and explain why his suggestion makes sense. He involved the audience. Next came questions from the floor. It was fun when Jerry mentioned his favourite convention to use over 1NT, "Hello". Frances remembered playing this with a pick up partner a few years ago. She really liked it but has not played it since.

| The Common Game |
The Kingston Duplicate Bridge Club is part of a large group of bridge clubs in North America offering the same bridge hands at the same time to all players at these clubs. This means:
- Our players' results are compared with results from over 1000 clubs in North America playing pre-dealt hands from The Common Game
- Players who have their email addresses registered with ACBL will receive results
- Hand analyses by various pros are provided
- Personal Play Analytics - players have access to personal play analytics on their personal page which includes declarer play vs dummy play statistics
