BEFORE YOU PLAY FOR THE 1ST TIME please check your computer settings (see at the bottom)

General instructions

Please log in at least 10 minutes before the start of the tournament
You can select one of any 9 languages to use the platform, please do this rather than use google translate
You DO NOT need to prebook to play.
Doors will be open at 2:00 pm approx.
Type in your Full Name with leading capitals eg Fred Smith, NOT F Smith FRED SMITH or any other variant.
ID enter your JBC id.
If you are colour blind, tick the UI Contrast box
Click the Login box. This takes you to the lobby.
Choose a seat, (eg click SIT N) fill up the tables vaguely from the top please.

Alerting

On Real Bridge you alert your partner's bids as if you were in the clubhouse. Club alerting policy applies and no announcements should be made. We expect the same etiquette during play as required during any club tournament.

Undos

UNDO will be accepted during the bidding BUT NOT during play. If you want to minimise your chance of making an error then go into settings by clicking the cog icon and set your input option to double click.

Payment

Liaise with John Hiskey regarding payment for your play. You can also see a tally of the number of times you have played in the member's area under the menu option play frequency on Real Bridge

Post play

You are welcome to stay and chat with other members as well as move around the "room" to other tables to chat with anyone you wish.

Buttons and Controls

	This turns your camera off or on – so the table can/can’t see you		This turns your microphone off or on – so the table can/can’t hear you (use this to eliminate any background noise in your home)
	This turns off or on your view of everybody else (they can still see you)		This refreshes all of your video feeds (use if they are stuck and every 40 ish minutes)
	This lets you chat at your table. If you are on a PC, the chat bar is already displayed, since the window is wider/bigger.		This lets you adjust a player’s volume for just you (nobody else is affected).
	Use this button to ask the opponents to let you change your bid		Calls for a Director
	Sends you back to the lobby where you can see all the other tables (the place where you first arrived). You can then rejoin your table or join another one to see/chat with other players at their table. This is a very useful feature as you can join any table before the game and have a social chat while waiting for your partner to arrive.
