Challenge Match Against Chichester Bridge Club
Our winning run came to an end with a loss to Chichester, 87-73 VPs. True, Chichester were aided and abetted by Tyler Hill, but no complaints. We were able to raise eight teams and Chichester only four. The always-keen Tyler Hill BC were able to immediately provide four more; since they started in 2020, this was their 125th match.
At the half, matches were 4-4- with I&K ahead by an aggregate 30 IMPs. But the Chichester All-Stars made a strong comeback, winning the second half by 44 IMPs and crucially turning around a tight match to go 5-3 up. Well played opponents.
All line-ups and results of all matches are available in the recent box left and on the results page.

Apology
We would like to apologise to all those who arrived at Kesgrave for last Thursday's Pairs.
We knew the Centre is a Polling Station but had heard of no cancellation; we would not have been surprised by having to move rooms. Whether caused by the late decision to 'un-cancel' the local elections or not, communication between KWMCC and the club faltered.
That said, we could clearly have been more proactive and we would like to make amends by holding a free session on Thursday 21st May at Kesgrave.
