Members must play their matches in accordance with the timetable and pairs that cannot agree on a mutually convenient time must give a ‘bye’ to their opponents. If there are any disagreements the Chairman of Bridge will decide the outcome.

This is a Rubber Bridge tournament played over 24 hands. The full rules with conventions allowed and scoring for this Tournament can be found on the tab to the left or on the board outside the Card Room.

Please feel free to utilise the Card Room for your matches. However, if players agree then matches can be played at home.

Pairs who are knocked out on the first round will be entered into the Winter Knockout Plate and again the draw for this will be on the Bridge Noticeboard outside the Card Room and here once all the first rounds have been played. 

Presentation of the cup and plate will take place at the Annual Bridge Dinner.
