Usually we have chosen a trump contract because we have more of them than the defenders and so it is usually right to draw them. The presenter then gives some reasons not to draw trumps (e.g. ruffs in the short hand, getting rid of a fast loser or using the trumps as entries for finesses). He then gives a couple of tactics (ducking, loser on loser) to allow declarer to keep control.
The final part is on how to execute a Trump Coup. This may turn up once in a player’s career.
Overall impression is of a very well-constructed first part but the time spent on a Trump Coup just comes across as padding. So watch the first part and then get a cup of tea!
