Basic Bidding- If you don’t get to the right contract good play will not help.

 What’s forcing, what’s not,

Limit raises in competition and with no competition.

T/0 dbles, neg dbles, cue bids

Overcalls, pre-emptive overcalls, weak 2 bids and responses

Stayman, Transfers, Jacoby 2nt, Blackwood, other conventions by request

Basic Play-Making a plan(counting winners and losers) Learn how to think about a hand. The more you play the easier it will become.

                   Ways to get extra tricks-finessing, setting up a long suit, etc.

                   Rules of 7 and 11

Basic Defense-the only way the defense can talk to each other is by the cards that they play.

Signalling-Attitude, Count and suit preference

Fee Structure-I teach individuals, pairs or groups of 4

I will try and put a group together if you are an individual or a pair that would prefer lessons for a goup of 4

$100- 2 hour individual lesson-usually I talk for 15 minutes and then you play around 10 hands that incorporate the lesson and we discuss them afterwards.

$200- Same format as above for partners($100each)

$200-groups of 4- same format as above.($50 each)
