MARCH 2026 UDATE : The residual funds from 2022 were kept to enable Face to Face activities to build post Covid-19. The Face to Face part of the Club which we affectionally called our “sister" club, initially under the banner of Finchley, then renamed to Southgate, is now considered to be self- sustainable under the excellent directing and hosting of Rosella and Lester Emanuel. On 29 March 2026 the signatories to the Club’s bank account and “online” directors decided that a further £4,000 of the remaining £7,000 of “old members monies” would be released to charity. The following donations have been made.
- BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION: £2,000 on 31 March 2026 and The NSPCC: £2,000 on 31 March 2026.

In April 2023 we took part in another simultaneous DEC - on behalf of Turkey & Syria Earthquake appeal and raised £164 from our online participants.
At a Committee Meeting held in December 2022 it was agreed to donate in total £12,000 of funds across 3 charities (reducing the Club's surplus of funds which had been built up over many years from members to £9,000) -
£4,000 to MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT : 9 January 2023 ; £4,000 to NSPCC Finchley Friern Barnet & Whetstone District 22 December 2022 and £4,000 to NORTH LONDON HOSPICE: 21 December 2022.
