Programme for Beginners
'Bridge for All' is a nationally approved teaching programme developed by the English Bridge Union (EBU) which teaches Standard ACOL bridge; a system which is suitable for beginners and is widely played in the UK.
The teaching involves a structured programme of lessons. Each two-hour session starts with a short talk and some practical exercises, but at least half the time is devoted to actually playing bridge. We also offer free extra resources and practice sessions online and membership of the Hexham Bridge Club and the EBU. There will be some simple preparatory work before the start date.
2025-26 Lesson programme. Cost: £8 per lesson payable by half term. £20 for the Year 1 course book.
