Our main club night takes place weekly on Thursdays in Hexham Community Centre where we usually play a pairs session of bridge.

Lessons and supervised play sessions are also available for beginners and improvers.

NEBA Inter Club League

The new inter club leagues will start in October, so if you are interested in joining our team, please have a chat with Chris Watson who is our organiser for this. The team consists of more than 8 players, with 4 pairs playing in each competition. This allows for the fact that not everyone is available for every match, or may not wish to travel to away games.

Home games are held at The Millenium Hall at Riding Mill.

The dates for matches will be:

15 November 2026; Chester le Street (H)

17 January 2027; Bishop Auckland (A)

Hexham Bridge Club held its 50th Anniversary Dinner this week. We had a fantastic turnout including ex-members who had moved away, our new student cohort, and also the chair of the Northeast Bridge Association.

And of course we had time for cards after the excellent meal and cake. Many thanks to Hexham Abbey for hosting the event.
