NB Parking Charges are in force at the Sports Park, but bridge players are exempted provided that car details are registered with the bridge club in advance. Note that you should give as much notice as possible: if you have not received confirmation by the time of the event then you will have to pay for parking.
Leave the A1(M) at Junction 4 and follow the signs for town centre. At the second roundabout the Sports Park is signposted on the right. Bridge is now situated in the main sports centre building which is immediately ahead once you have left the roundabout.
St Albans Bridge Club, Jersey Farm Community Centre, Sandringham Crescent, St Albans, Herts, AL4 9RG
From the A1, take the exit J3 of the A1(M) just S of Hatfield Galleria and head N on the A1001 to the Comet Roundabout. Turn L onto the A1057 (signed St Albans). Immediately after the Three Horseshoes PH, turn R at the roundabout and follow Oaklands Lane. Turn R at the second roundabout into House Lane (signed Sandridge) and then L at the next into Sandringham Crescent. After a few hunder yards, turn L immediately before the Blackberry Jack PH into the free public car park.
South Sports Hall, Wodson Park, Wadesmill Road, Ware, SG12 0UQ
On the A10 from the north or the south, take the junction marked "Ware A1170" towards Ware. Hint: Ignore other signposts on the A10 to Ware. After the A10 slip road roundabout/s, follow the signs to Wodson Park which is on the left after a few hundred yards. There is ample free parking in the grounds of the Park. The ground floor South Sports Hall is approached via the main entrance to the sports centre.
Bennetts End Community Centre, Gate Croft, Hemel Hempstead, HP3 9LZ
From junction 8 on the M1, take the dual carriageway towards Hemel Hempstead town centre and at the 3rd roundabout, turn left into Bennetts End Road. At the end, turn right, and then right again. The Community Centre and Gate Croft are almost immediately on the left. Our event will take place in the large ground floor hall. Car parks behind the Centre and the surgery beyond and also in the shopping centre opposite.
Bushey Sports Club (also known as the Metropolitan Police Sports Club), Aldenham Road, Bushey, WD23 2TR
From junction 5 on the M1 take A41 South, then at Toby Carvery roundabout turn right into Aldenham Road. Go straight on at the lights passing John Lloyd Sports Centre on your right and very shortly Bushey Sports Club is on your left. Opposite Queens School.
Hatfield Heath Village Hall, Stortford Road, Hatfield Heath,CM22 7EA
From junction 7 on the M10, take the A414 north towards Bishops Stortford and Sawbridgeworth and turn right at the 4th roundabout on to the B183. Continue until the end of the B183, the junction with Stortford Road (A1060) and turn left. The Village Hall is on the right after 100 yards or so. Alternatively, at the main crossroads on the A414 in Sawbridgeworth, turn into Station Road, continue past Sawbridgeworth station for about 2 miles and bear right at the junction with Stortford Road. The Village Hall is on the left after 100 yards or so. Ground floor hall. Adjacent car park on site.
