Bulletin

We play twice a week at the Heritage Hills Activities Center. The club asks that players arrive at least ten minutes before the scheduled game time, so the director can set up the movement in a timely fashion.

As the Covid threat level is moderate, mask wearing will be optional at bridge, although players can request that others at the table wear masks. Group refreshments are no longer being offered during the game, although players can bring their own drinks and snacks.

The club is presently not offering lessons. But there are plenty of ways to get started playing bridge online these days, and there are fresh opportunities all of the time.

A playground equipment company has compiled an excellent Beginners Guide to Playing Bridge.

Bridge expert Richard Pavlicek has some comprehensive explanations on his Bridge Basics page, start with the Introductions and keep going!

No Fear Bridge is a website devoted to learning the game. They offer a free trial.

The ACBL, the US national bridge organization, offers a free one-hour introductory course on Zoom called Trickstarter, and also more in-depth online courses if you're willing to pay.
