Is there an ideal bridge player?

Researchers at the University of Stirling are conducting online focus groups with people aged 18 to 35 who have never played bridge (or at least not in the past five years) to develop a marketing strategy for the game.

In focus groups, participants will be invited to share their experiences of sports and related activities to test different ‘ideal types’ of bridge players – socialiser, competitor, self-improver, mind-gamer. The focus groups are fun and interactive and take approximately an hour to complete. If you have friends or family members that fit the profile, please encourage them to join the study. Findings will be used to develop a marketing strategy for bridge. To register interest, email: jordan.maclean1@stir.ac.uk.
