HBC ZERO TOLERANCE

The Hendersonville Bridge Center is a Zero-Tolerance Bridge Club. Below are some examples of commendable behavior, which, while not required, will significantly contribute to a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere:

  • Being a good 'host' or 'guest' at the table.
  • Greeting others in a friendly manner
  • Praising the bidding and/or play of the opponents
  • Having two clearly completed convention cards readily available to the opponents (This one is a regulation, not just a nicety)

The following are some examples of behavior which will not be tolerated:

  • Badgering, rudeness, insinuations, intimidation, profanity, threats, or violence
  • Negative comments concerning opponents' or partner's play or bidding.
  • Constant and gratuitous lessons and analyses at the table.
  • Loud and disruptive arguing with a director's ruling.

CLICK FOR MAP/DIRECTIONS

When approaching the venue the entrance to the parking lot is before the building. There are 5 handicapped spots right in front of the building by the front door, as well as the dirt road parallel to the road. Around the corner between two red brick buildings is a parking lot we can use for overflow parking. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PARK ANYWHERE AROUND THE SECOND RED BRICK BUILDING.  DO NOT PARK NEXT TO THE FIRST RED BRICK BUILDING. If the overflow parking area #1 is full, you may park in Overflow Parking area #2 which is by the building just on the other side of the Post Office. DO NOT PARK IN THE POST OFFICE PARKING LOT.
