Derrick Munday sadly died peacefully at home on 16th May at the age of 93.
We know Derrick had not been in the best of health for some time, but it is still a sad occasion for those knew him. He was of course, a very intelligent friendly person and was aformer county chairman. Together with Sue they represented very capable opposition at the bridge table, they played many times for Herefordshire, and were members of several local clubs for many years.
Many bridge players and clubs in Herefordshire will have come across Peter Jordan. He was a prominent EBU committee member for many years and his duties included organising major congresses overseas and in the UK . I'm very sorry to say that, following a serious stroke, he died 2 days ago with coronavirus in a nursing home.
He made a tremendous contribution to bridge in this country and was a highly respected, courteous and considerate administrator.
