Learn to Play Bridge with Janet and Andrew

Bridge is a fascinating game, played by millions of people around the world, at all levels from beginners to experts.  We are qualified Bridge Teachers, certified by the English Bridge Union, and have successfully taught bridge for many years.  Most of our students now play in local clubs and/or socially with friends.  We also support students take their first few steps into club duplicate bridge.

The course of lessons for beginners, or people who have played bridge many years ago and would like a refresher course, will take place at Much Birch Community Centre on Tuesday afternoons, starting in September 2025.

The structure of each lesson is a mixture of tuition (talk and chalk), exercises and quizzes, and a lot of card play.  We believe more is learned by doing than by listening.  Detailed notes on the topic of each lessons are provided, together with copies of the cards which have been played and a commentary about the cards.  We also give homework!

If you are interested in learning this wonderful game contact Janet on janet@kilreague.com or 01989 770949.
