PORTSMOUTH CUP 2019

Congratulations to Graham Broadbent and Geoff Belding for winning this year's Portsmouth Cup donated by David Wing in 2013 - the chosen charity for 2019 is First Responders. The total donations received from table money (from both Tuesday and Thursday players), plus extra donations, amounted to £53, which was doubled by the club to £106  Many thanks to everyone.

 

FRIENDSHIP CUP 2018

The Friendship Cup, an annual teams match between Emsworth and Hayling Island, resulted in a win for Hayling Island.  The Cup was presented to Jim Norman, our Playing Captain.  Our thanks to Alan Thomas and Emsworth for organising the event. 

 

PORTSMOUTH CUP 2018

Congratulations to Sally Herm and Alan Shore for winning this year's Portsmouth Cup donated by David Wing in 2013 - the chosen charity for 2018 is the Rowan's Hospice. The total donations received from table money (from both Tuesday and Thursday players), plus extra donations, amounted to £36, which was doubled by the club to £72  Many thanks to everyone.

 

PORTSMOUTH CUP 2017

Congratulations to Alan and Sue Thomas for winning this year's Portsmouth Cup donated by David Wing in 2013 - the chosen charity for 2017 is the local branch of Open Sight. The total donations received from table money (from both Tuesday and Thursday players), plus extra donations, amounted to £63, which was doubled by the club.  A cheque for £126 was presented to Mrs Linda Standen, Chairman of The Hayling Island Blind Club.  Many thanks to everyone.

 

PORTSMOUTH CUP 2016

Congratulations to Leigh Harding and Jim Norman for winning this year's Portsmouth Cup donated by David Wing in 2013 - the chosen charity for 2016 was Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation based in Northney. The total donations received from table money (from both Tuesday and Thursday players), plus extra donations, amounted to £63, which was doubled by the club.  A cheque for £126 was presented to a representative of the charity.  Many thanks to everyone.
