New Rank Advancements

As per the latest information received from ACBL, we'd like to congratulate the following club members for achieving new ACBL ranks:

* Junior Master (5MPs) - Chris Gilfillan and Zunairah Khan
* Club Master (20 MPs) - Barbara Doukas
* Sectional Master (50 MPs) - Jane Snyder
* Advanced NABC Master (300 MPs) - Gerald Skurcenski
* Bronze Life Master (750 MPs) - Mary Moyer and Molly Walsh
* Silver Life Master (1000 MPs) - Kamrul Khan and Nina Sadler
* Gold Life Master (2500 MPs) - Rich Lyden

Note: some of these categories also require a specific number of gold, red, or silver MPs in addition to total points. Life/Bronze Life Master point requirements are dependent on when the member joined the ACBL.

Team Board Maker
Team Board Maker

One thing duplicate bridge players don't think of is how the boards magically appear for the games HBC holds every week. The team pictured above make it happen! Pictured above left to right are Susan Hunter, Cindy Mueller, Cathy Becker, Pat Bettger, and not in the photo Marilyn Gillespie. Each week they get together and bring up files on the computer that send information to the duplimating machine. The machine then loads the cards into the boards that are then loaded into the suitcase to bring out for each game. A big thank you to the duplimating team for this weekly task!
