| Upcoming Game Schedule |
This week will be StaC week! StaC stands for Sectional Tournament at Clubs. Results from each session will be compared with results across the Section just as if you were attending a Sectional tournament. Those who place high enough overall will be awarded additional (generally silver) masterpoints.Here's the game schedule at HBC for the upcoming week. $8 table fee, unless otherwise noted.
* Monday May 4th - open pairs at 12:30 PM; and 0-500 and 0-50 pairs at 6:30 PM (mini-lesson at 5:45)
* Tuesday May 5th - open pairs at 12:30 PM; and 0-1500 pairs at 6:30 PM; also Chambersburg open pairs at 10:00 AM
* Wednesday May 6th- 0-500 pairs (FREE game) at 12:30 PM (mini lesson at 11:45); and non-competitive & instructor assisted bridge play for beginners at 6:30 PM ($2)
* Thursday May 7th - open pairs at 12:30 PM.
* Friday May 8th - 0-2500 and 0-750 pairs at 12:30 PM
* Saturday May 9th - non-competitive and instructor assisted bridge play for beginners at 9:30 AM ($2)

One thing duplicate bridge players don't think of is how the boards magically appear for the games HBC holds every week. The team pictured above make it happen! Pictured above left to right are Susan Hunter, Cindy Mueller, Cathy Becker, Pat Bettger, and not in the photo Marilyn Gillespie. Each week they get together and bring up files on the computer that send information to the duplimating machine. The machine then loads the cards into the boards that are then loaded into the suitcase to bring out for each game. A big thank you to the duplimating team for this weekly task!

| Open Winners April Swiss Teams |

Pictured above from left to right are Jan Leuenberger, Steve Fama, Monica Knopf, and Kamrul Khan. They are the big winners of the Open section of the April Swiss teams. There was a great turnout of 21 teams playing across 3 sections enjoying a chicken dinner and bridge. A big thanks to Jim Boyer for all the preparations and director duties for this large game and a big congratulations to the winners!
