| Upcoming Special Events |
The Harrisburg Bridge Club is introducing a new Friday afternoon limited point game on a trial basis to give our 0-2500 players an opportunity to compete with players of like point totals. The initial 0-2500 game will be offered on Friday January 9th at 12:30 PM, and this game will run concurrently with the 0-750 game. These will be two separate games being played at the same time, and the games will NOT be combined.
See Flight A (fewer than 6000 MPs) and Flight C (fewer than 750 MPS non-life master) flyers below regarding the District 4 Grand National Teams events being held at Harrisburg Bridge Club in March. Teams of 4-6 players compete at the local level for a chance to represent District 4 at the National Finals this year being held in Minneapolis in July. The Open Flight and Flight B will be held in New Jersey.

| Swiss Social Mixer Holiday Dinner |
 |
HBC recently held it's Swiss Social Mixer game and holiday dinner. Chicken tenders were served along with appetizers, side dishes, and yummy desserts brought in by those attending. The turnout was huge consisting of 11 teams and the winners of the event are pictured above from left to right Jimmie Groves, Susan Carnovale, Monica Knopf, and Joyce Marafka. It was a very enjoyable event and wonderful way to start the holiday season. Thanks to Mike Mendelson for organizing the event!
