New Rank Advancements

As per the latest information received from ACBL, we'd like to congratulate the following club members for achieving new ACBL ranks:

* Club Master (20 MPs) - Malini Agarwal, Elaine Hutchison and Susan Smeltz
* Regional Master (100 MPs) - Fran Kasher

Note: some of these categories also require a specific number of gold, red, or silver MPs in addition to total points. Life/Bronze Life Master point requirements are dependent on when the member joined the ACBL.

HBC Donations to End ALZ!
HBC Donations to End ALZ!

Since 2013, the ACBL and bridge clubs across North America  (including the Harrisburg Bridge Club) have partnered with the Alzheimer's Association to raise funds for research and care. To date, bridge players have raised more than $12 million.

In 2026, the Alzheimer's Association expanded its annual The Longest Day fundraiser into Do What You Love to End ALZ™. The updated name reflects a broader vision: do what you love to honor who you love.
Since we all love bridge, the Harrisburg Bridge Club donated all entry fees paid during the week of June 15-20 to the Alzheimer’s Association, so every time you played that week, you were contributing to the cause.  The amount Harrisburg Bridge Club donated to the Alzheimer's Association from entry fees and individual donations was over $3,500! Thanks to all for their donations to support the work of the Alzheimer's Association.
