Summer is Starting to Wind Down...

How fortunate we are to have such a beautiful club to enjoy, surrounded by such an amazing group of members! I hope you have all had the opportunity to enjoy some of the many wonderful gatherings at Harbor Point Golf Club this summer. From the cocktail parties and dinners to flower arranging and Bingo nights, there has been something for everyone—and each event has been filled with fun and laughter. What better place to spend time, make memories, and enjoy the company of our fellow members!

Since taking over this game after the many dedicated years that Jim and Judy Frey devoted to running it, our community has grown into a strong group of dedicated players who all come together to enjoy the game we love.

We have had an amazing turnout for our bridge games, along with wonderful Bridge Banter sessions with Lulie, who has generously shared her knowledge and expertise with all of us.

In addition, we have played three Club Championship games, one North American Pairs game, two ACBL Go Local! Silver Quest games, and two Sectional Tournament games, offering opportunities to earn Gold, Silver, Red, and Black Points!

We are also allowed one more Championship Game for the remainder of our season, so there is still another exciting opportunity ahead!

It has truly been a wonderful season, and it is a privilege to be part of such a welcoming and enthusiastic bridge community. Thank you all for making our games so much fun and for helping our group continue to grow! We are already looking forward to next year and all that it will bring. With this amazing group of players, we can’t wait to make our bridge community bigger, better, and stronger than ever!

Our season isn't over yet, games will run through Thursday, September 17th.  I hope to see many of you at the tables these last few weeks!

Please continue to make an effort to sign up early for the games that you plan to play in.  It helps us to plan as we need three tables to hold a game!  Click on "Members Only" then "Find a Partner" to reserve a seat for any of the games you plan to attend this year.

If you are not a regular at lunch before the games, you are missing out! It's not only a great time to catch up with fellow players, but there is always a bit of bridge banter about bidding, conventions and the play of the hand.  Although Bob is no longer in the kitchen, his fabulous menu remains; including all of our favorites as well as a few new additions that sound delicious!  I highly recommend the cookies, which are made in house from scratch:) Sarah (the cookie lady) and Chef Shean are carrying on Bob's legacy of delicious food and beautiful presentation!

A huge shout out to all who were regular users of this website last summer and have been using it to sign up for games!  Thank You!  It is my hope you will continue to use this site as your "go to" to sign up for games, find partners, view results and all information pertaining to bridge at Harbor Point.
