 Wow! What a Great Summer of Bridge so far!
We have had an amazing turnout for our games and had three Bridge Banter sessions with Lulie, who has generously shared her knowledge of this game that we all love. In addition, we have played one Club Championship game, a North American Pairs game and two ACBL Go Local! Silver Quest Games.
Our Monday, July 27th game and Thursday, July 30th game will both be Sectional Tournament games, offering Gold, Silver, Red and Black Points! We are allowed three more Championship Games for the rest of our season. The next one will be on Monday, August 17th, coordinating with our fun Bridge Dinner! Bob will be creating a special menu for us again this year and Teri is going to run with the theme, Diamonds are a Bridge Players’ Best Friend! Be sure to sign up ASAP online for the game and with Teri for the dinner. Guests for the game and dinner are welcome!
Please make an effort to sign up early for the games that you plan to play in. It helps us to plan as we need three tables to hold a game! Click on "Members Only" then "Find a Partner" to reserve a seat for any of the games you plan to attend this year.
If you are not a regular at lunch before the games, you are missing out! It's not only a great time to catch up with fellow players, but there is always a bit of bridge banter about bidding, conventions and the play of the hand. Bob is back again this summer and so is his great menu with all of our favorites as well as a few new additions that sound delicious! I highly recommend the cookies, which are made in house from scratch:)
A huge shout out to all who were regular users of this website last summer and have been using it to sign up for games! Thank You!
