When you join Hambleden Bridge Club if you are not already a member of the EBU (English Bridge Union) we will automatically register you on their database.  If you prefer not to be registered on their database, please tick the relevant box below and we will register you on their database as an “Anonymous” member, which means your EBU records will simply contain a pseudonym with your EBU number which means you will not be able to enter EBU competitions or receive any EBU member benefits.   If you grant permission your membership data is shared with the EBU, and they will pass it on to your county of allegiance which is usually the club’s primary county bridge association (Berks and Bucks).

Hambleden Bridge Club uses Bridgewebs to contact members by email, so your name, phone number and email address will be stored on the Bridgewebs database for this purpose.  The club also uses EBU Score and Scorebridge to process the session results. Your data may be processed by Bridgewebs and Scorebridge. They may only use it for the specific purposes for which they act as our data processors, and they are not free to pass this on to other organisations that are not connected with Hambleden Bridge Club. 

The Club has a separate Gmail Account which members can use to contact us. If you contact us this way, we will reply to you using the gmail account. 

Members of the Bridge Club Committee store and have access to your data, but only use it for matters related to the Bridge Club.
