Application to join Hadley Wood Bridge Club

Hadley Wood Bridge Club undertakes to collect and use your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest as a bridge club. We use the data for the administration of your membership, the communication of information and the organisation of events. This information will be recorded in our membership database, which is stored offline in compliance with the GDPR and on Bridgewebs (where you control it). Full information about our data use policies including how you can see what data we hold about you, how you can limit its use and how you can ask for inaccuracies in data to be corrected, may be found on the club website or by contacting the Membership Secretary.

Conditions of membership

By joining you agree the following:

• that the information I have provided is accurate.
• that my personal details will be held in accordance with the general Data Protection Regulation 2018, this is detailed in the Club’s Privacy Policy.
• that communication will be managed through the Club’s Bridgewebs site (under my control).
• that my name, telephone number(s) and/or email address can be shared with other Club members (managed by Bridgewebs).
• my name and contact details will be shared with the English Bridge Union (the EBU) to allow communication about bridge-related activities.
• that I have read and accepted the HWBC Handbook, including the Club's Constitution.

The membership fee is currently a one-off payment of £10. Table money for members, per session, is set at £1.50 online and £2.50 Live. Please ensure there is sufficient credit in your account to cover the fees.
