Sunday 11:00-12:15 Mini-Workshops (prior to the game)

On Sunday mornings, arrive by 10:50 to participate in lessons suitable for developing players.  Most of these will be Intermediate topics. 

Lessons will be 75 minutes, with several practice hands.  No partner required. 

April 26th - "Master the Competitive Auction: To Bid or Not to Bid?" 

Jane Youngberg: In modern Bridge, the "quiet" auction is a thing of the past.  Statistics show that nearly two-thirds of all bridge hands are played at the two or three level.  With the stakes high and the room for error small, the most important skill you can develop is knowing exactly when to compete and when to pass.

Lesson fee is $10 or a punch of your Pass.

CBF Rookie-Master Pizza and Bridge night!

GVBC invited all levels of players to play in the game, but only Rookie-Master pairs were eligible for masterpoints and the cross-Canada and BC achievement awards
