Tuesday Evening Barometer IMP Pairs!

Every Tuesday 6:55 join for an ACBL IMP Pairs Barometer game.  The first series will run September/October, with prizes and wrap-up October 27th!

IMPs stands for International Match Points, and the scoring is the same as playing a Team game where the amount by which you win or lose is important.  It differs from Matchpoint scoring which only measures whether you win or lose to other teams, irrespective of the amount of the win or loss.

This is meant to be a fun, learning experience, and we will have a Leader Board and prizes. 

Your top 4 scores will count:
- Earn 3 points for playing, and earn extra points for a positive IMP score at the end of the evening
- Bonus point for bidding and making a Grand Slam
- Sportsmanship point for biggest negative score each week! 

This is a FUN evening, and everyone is welcome.  The game will be stratified.  Singles please contact Shelley, or arrive by 6:45.

we welcome all willing participants!

Arrive by 10:00 to learn how you can help out with the smooth running of our games, as we prepare for Bryan's departure November 4th.

Some of you will be interested in becoming a game Director, and others will be able to help out by doing various setup jobs.  We welcome everyone to attend. 

Thursday Evening - online Team League in lieu of Pairs game

Due to lack of attendance, the online Pairs game will be cancelled, effective immediately.

For those who are interested, the CBF is offering a Team League for all levels online on Thursdays 5:00-7:15 PT.  There is Partnership matching at cbf.ca. 

$200 per team of up to 8 players, Oct 1 to Nov 26, with playoffs following.  25% goes to Cash prizes.

Please note that the Round Robins for Open, Women's, Mixed, Seniors, B and C Flights will be held in January/February online on RealBridge.
The playoffs will be held in Quebec City May 19-25, 2027.
