The ScoreBridge player database players.txt can be uploaded to/downloaded from Bridgewebs.

When you use "Exchange Files" - Bridgewebs - "Upload Player Database",  the players.txt file is "Uploaded" to Bridgewebs and stored on the Bridgewebs Server
When you use "Exchange Files" - Bridgewebs - "Download Player Database", the players.txt file is "Downloaded" to ScoreBridge from the Bridgewebs Server

If you have Membership - Options - "Do you want to update the BWMDB from the SPDB when uploaded, if "Yes" following questions apply?" set to Yes, then Bridgewebs will take the records from the player.txt file and apply updated to the Bridgewebs Membership Database

"Upload" will match the 2 files on Firstname/Surname,

• If you have changed a name on the players.txt since the last transfer or added new records, that will be considered a new record.
• If you have added a name on the players.txt since the last transfer, that will be considered a new record. 
  • If you have "Do you want to ignore visitors from the SPDB when uploading?" set to No, then
    • Any records with a Scorebridge "Membership Start Date" will be added to Bridgewebs with "Member" status
    • Any records without a Scorebridge "Membership Start Date" will be ignored
  • If you have "Do you want to ignore visitors from the SPDB when uploading?" set to Yes, then
    • Any records with a Scorebridge "Membership Start Date" will be added to Bridgewebs with "Member" status
    • Any records without a Scorebridge "Membership Start Date" will be added to Bridgewebs with "Visitor" status
• For any records that Match, 
  • If you have "Do you want to retain any BWMDB personal information, if present, rather than using the SPDB?" set to Yes, then
    • Only new data from the players.txt will be used to update Bridgewebs
  • If you have "Do you want to retain any BWMDB personal information, if present, rather than using the SPDB?" set to No, then
    • The data from the players.txt will be used to update the Bridgewebs Membership database
