Release 2.19r
11.10 Interclub

There is a feature in Bridgewebs to score results across more than one club. This is called the "Interclub" feature.

This is controlled through the "Competitions" feature in Web Administration.

  • Set up a new Competition in the usual way, with a title say "Interclub"
  • Set the options as
    • Type of Competition - "Pairs"
    • Title - e.g. "Interclub"
    • Note (Bridgewebs use only) - "List of Clubs, see "clubs" below.
    • Leave remaining option as per default
  • In dates, pick the date(s) of the Interclub event.

Each club participating needs to do the same

Clubs

You need to enter a list of club codes participating in the Interclub event separated by a semi-colon ";" e.g. london;birmingham;sheffield

Note that you use the club code rather than the name of the club, you can find a complete list of codes at
www.bridgewebs.com/clubs.

Upload the results in the usual way. When the results are uploaded, Bridgewebs checks the competition and checks other clubs involved have uploaded their results and if so, it puts up an extra button "Interclub" on the results. The results will be scored across all participating clubs.

If you wish you can run the Interclub over several events to get a combined "Competition".
