If you are considering Handicaps, there are a number of methods.

• Handicaps can applied to each Result in the Scoring program use and Bridgewebs presents the Handicap and Result as imported. You will need to use the information for your scoring software to determine how to do this.
• Results can be uploaded and you can use the Competition feature to create a Competition/Ladder applying Handicaps to each result used in the Competition

There are Bridgewebs options for the inclusion of Handicaps in Competitions. There are several ways to determine the Handicaps

• Use the Bridgewebs "Rolling" Handicap option which calculates the Handicap for each month and applies that to the actual Score
• Enter Handicaps manually
• Use the Handicap as applied to each result uploaded
• Apply a Handicap based on NGS Grade (EBU Clubs Only)

Once you have chosen the Handicap method, there are further options that you may need to apply.

• Handicaps can be applied to each result or applied as a value to the "Average"
• If a Handicap isn't available, then a default value can be applied in the Competitions Options.
  • One if the player is not a member, default -5
  • One if the player has not played sufficiently to qualify for a Handicap, default -5
