A "News" Web Page is built using a number of "News" items which you can move around to suit your requirements.

A basic "News" item consists of a Title and Content added using the Editor. Bridgewebs provides further features to automatically enhance the item.

• Title - A short title for the item, may be black
• Content - The words to show beneath the Title
• Picture/Image - Include a Picture in the item, see 9.9.1 to add a single picture to a news item
• Add a Link - Add a link to another page, see 9.4 Add a Link
• Add a "Hand of the Week" - Construct a Hand of the Week Diagram with further information, see 9.7 Hand of the week
• Add a "Form" - Add Input fields such as a "Contact Us" form, see 9.5 Forms
• Add a Widget - Special content formatted by Bridgewebs, see 9.6 Add Special Content/Widget
• Add a "Membership List" - Add a Member List, see 9.8 Membership lists
• Add a "Read More" link, see below

For most users the Content will be Text, formatted using Word Processing type techniques, bold, centered etc.

You do NOT need to completely format each item with Font Size and Style, rather you can use Themes, see 9.12 Themes and site style to give your site a consistent look.

Read More. You can choose to add a "Read More" button. This can be where you have a large amount of Text and you would like to show the Highlights and allow the user to click a link to "See More" without moving away from the Page and then the user will see a "Read Less" to put back as it was. There are a number of options on how much to show initially depending on the content.
