10 The Calendar

Entries in the "Calendar" are entered as "Events", you can enter as much or as little information for an event as required. These will appear in the "Calendar", "Home Page" as necessary.

Once an event has passed into history, i.e.. older than today, it will be dropped from the "Calendar Page" and show up on the "Results Page" instead.

The Calendar is a database of the club's activities with one entry for each event, scheduled or played. You can maintain this completely manually by entering the details one at a time. However, there are a number of options to speed up this process.

  • Quick Update – create events for several dates on one page
  • Schedule – if you play on the same day/s each week you can set up a schedule to automatically generate calendar entries
  • Copy – you can copy an individual event to create a new event one week ahead.

The Calendar can be shown in two formats

  • As a list – shown on the Menu as ‘Calendar’
  • As a month by month box format – shown on the Menu as ‘Calendar Month’. In this format you can also go back to previous months and see Results.
