In order to use this feature,

- you will need to go to [Settings] - [Members] and turn on the options
- Do you want to use the "Find a Partner" feature? = Yes - indicates that "Find a Partner" features will show where applicable
- "Partner Finder" generally active? = Yes - means all events are available to request a partner unless an event is specifically excluded such as AGM, Special Competition or Christmas Party
- Allow "Partner Finder" through Calendar? = Yes - There are 2 ways of setting up a request, "Member Only" Tab and "Calendar", see below
- If active in Calendar, also "Partner Finder" Email active? = Yes - Allow Members to email directly via the Calendar option
1) Calendar Month
The "Calendar Month" in the menu provides an overall picture of events that are available to request "Find a Partner", a"partner Required" Icon will show and the Member can click this to access the "Find a Partner" options
They will first need to identify themselves with EBU/ACBL number or email and optionally password (set in WebAdmin - Settings - Members Tab) then
- Add a Request to show in the Calendar
- Add a Request and send an Email
- Just send an Email
Any requests will show in the Calendar and can be removed using the same technique.
2) Member Only - [Find a Partner] Tab
This feature is available through the "Member Only" login and provides a means of the Member reviewing all their requests and amending as necessary.
There is also a variation of this in Web Admin - Membership - [Find a Partner] that allows the Administrator to pretend to be a Member by selecting the member from the dropdown list and adjusting their entries as necessary.
See the appropriate pages for more details of how it works for the Member
