Release 2.19r
3.5.1 Club Database

If you want to have a list of several clubs, such as a "County" or "District" site, an extra feature is available for this.

To turn this on.

  • Choose "Settings" in the top tabs
  • Choose "Options"
  • Choose the last option on the page "Clubs"
  • Set to "Use Club Database"

You will then get an extra tab [Clubs] appearing in Web Administration, where you can enter "Clubs" much the same as "People".

There are several fields that can be filled in.

Once you have added a few, you will need to add this page to the menu

  • Select [Menu] in the top tabs
  • Select [Amend]
  • Select where you want the page to appear
  • Choose the [Local Clubs] button in the middle to add the entry and give it a name
  • Select [Save]

There is also a feature to show a map (see below)

  • Select [Menu] in the top tabs
  • Select [Amend]
  • Select where you want the map page to appear
  • Choose the [New News Page] button in the middle to add the entry and give it a name
  • Select [Save]

Then you need to add the news page

  • Select [Menu]
  • Select [Map Page]
  • [Amend]
  • The map shows instead of a picture, so choose the type of map against the Picture section.
    • Club Map with Directions
    • Club Map
    • Club Map without directions
  • Enter some text and Bridgewebs will create a map.

You will need to find the coordinates for each club and enter in the details of the club.
