ACBL "GOLD FOR GOOD" - From April 20-25, play in the games you already love for a chance to win gold points and support communities across North America.  "Gold for Good" is the ACBL’s annual fundraising event benefiting the ACBL Charity Foundation, which helps communities recover and rebuild after disasters. Cost is $30 for the whole week.  Play as much as you want.  Play at any local or on-line club (no robot) and even with different partners. Your two best scores are used to determine your final ranking.  There will be four brackets determined by the MP's of the players that have entered.  CLICK HERE for more information and to register.  Several club players won Gold points last year.  Its cheaper than playing a single day at a Regional.  Any points won at the Club game will also be awarded.

Starting with the 1st game in April, the game fee for non-club members will be increased from $10 to $11.  There will be a box by the Directors desk where the $1 can be deposited.  The envelope will continue to be used for the $10.

The weekly Friday game will be terminated at the end of March.  The last game will be March 27th.

"Bridge with Susan" will end on 31 March.

There are several special games on the schedule where extra points are awarded or Gold, Red and/or Silver points awarded.  The Club does NOT charge extra for these games.  

Several of the members of the Greater Venice Duplicate Bridge Club, are planning to take the Regional at Sea Bridge cruise scheduled for April 19, 2026.  So I wanted to let everyone know of our plans - not that we are recruiting people for the cruise - but to make sure everyone else feels invited to join us.  This cruise on Royal Caribbean.

For those who have not taken a bridge cruise, you should know there are bridge games available every day at 10:00am, 2:00pm and 8:00pm, as well as a 9:00am lesson and discussions after every session. A Regional Tournament at sea is an excellent way to get gold and red points.  There is an ad for this cruise in your monthly Bridge Bulletin.  Please contact me if interested.

Duplicate Bridge games are on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 
All Games start at 1:00 PM.  Cost is $10 per game. There is no extra charge for special games.

We are a Members Owned and operated club.   However - Membership is optional. You do NOT have to be a member to play. Just come to the Club & play.  There is no need to call ahead of time unless you need a partner.  If you wish to become a member, the cost is $25 per calendar year and entitle you to a free play and voting rights.

You CANNOT register yourself.  Please send a email to greatervenicebridge@gmail.com with a title of “Request Membership”. Include your name, email & ACBL number.  As an option, you can also provide a telephone #.  It will appear in the "Members List".  Once you are registered, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
