iPad Users please note:

iOS 15.6.1 and 16

The latest version of iOS is 15.6.1. This works well with RealBridge, so we advise iPad users to upgrade from earlier versions of iOS 15.

Apple say that iOS 16 will be released in the next few months. RealBridge are testing a beta version of iOS 16 with RealBridge. When iOS 16 is released, they will tell you whether they think it is a good idea to upgrade or not.

Echo problems when there is an iPad at the table – updated advice

In June 2022 RealBridge told us about an echo problem with some iPads on iOS 15.4 or iOS 15.5. The problem only affected:

  • iPad 7th Generation or earlier
  • iPad Pro 12.9-in 2nd Generation or earlier
  • iPad Pro 10.5-in
  • iPad Pro 9.7-in
  • iPad Air 2 or earlier
  • iPad Mini 4 or earlier

They recommended a workaround, which involved plugging in and then unplugging an audio jack.  Apple have now fixed the echo problem. RealBridge suggest that iPad users who have had the echo problem should upgrade to iOS 15.6.1. If they do this, they will no longer need to use the audio jack.
