Beginner Classes

 Traditional two-hour Bridge Classes

These will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 - 7:30 on the following dates:

 Tuesday, January 6, 13, and 27, February 3, 10, and 24; 5:30-7:30 PM. 

Lessons 1 and 2 combined will have content similar to Learn Bridge in a Day, and each lesson will build on the previous ones. Please register for the series by emailing Lynn Goldblatt at lynn.goldblatt@gmail.com.  The cost will be $90 for the six lessons, and you'll also have an opportunity to play on January 20th and February 17. The book will not be included. Please bring cash or check the first day.  

Learn Bridge in a Day

 Saturday,January 17, 10 AM – 3 PM. $30 (includes lunch).

Note:  “Graduates” who enjoyed the class may expand their bridge skills by attending the remaining Tuesday evening classes
beginning with an optional free play session on January 20th followed by lesson #3 on January 27. Cost will be  $60 for the remaining 4 classes.

Beginning players working on improving their game (on-going) 

Fridays -   1 hour free class* (Donations to GIDBC welcome but not necessary) 

Bring your lunch, and if you can, stay for the game that starts at 1:00

Topics will Include: Interesting/challenging hands from the Tuesday game (submit any you especially want to talk about by Thursday night to lynn.goldblatt@gmail.com)

Deeper Dive on some common conventions, Scoring, Bridgemate tips and tricks, How to look at hands in Bridgewebs, Other topics you are interested in
