Bridge is not a simple game. You cannot start playing after an explanation of 5 minutes. That's why bridge clubs organise lessons for new players.
Every year, around February/March/April (look out for the ads in the GB Weekly Newspaper or contact one of the Bridge Club Wednesday or Friday contacts to see when they start), a series of new lessons is held. In 10 lessons you will learn the basics of bridge, followed by a few sessions of social playing. Then after this you will be introduced to the club and your exciting career in playing bridge starts!
