It was necessary in 2007 to produce a new constitution because of tighter financial regulations, the advent of the Human Rights Act and changes in the relationship with the EBU. Some further changes - to do with the concept of membership - had to be introduced in 2010 and these were ratified at the AGM in May 2010. Work is in hand to present to the 2015 AGM a revised constitution to accord with the EBU recommended constitution for County Bridge Associations.
We hope that all our bridge events are well run, and that any difficulties can be handled by the TD. In cases where that fails, one alternative would be to talk to a member of the County committee, but if that is not convenient or appropriate - the GCBA also has a process by which concerns can be reported confidentially and will be handled appropriately. Players in County events should use this channel (email to email@example.com) if they feel there is anything untoward which needs attention. More details of the process can be found at CLICK HERE.
