| Bid & Natter |
On some Tuesday afternoons, we will run a "Bid & Natter" session in the Green Room, in parallel with normal Bridge in the Hall. The first one is October 28th 2025. The trial process is:
- players sit at a table and bid the first hand
- as each bid is made, the others say what they understand the bid means - eg. 2♥ - "weak, 6-10 points, 6 card suit" - the bidder can change their bid if they wish
- when the final contract is reached, LHO leads, dummy goes down, and declarer says how they would plan to play the hand - discussion, but not playing the cards
- see the results from the Thursday beforehand
- review of the bidding
- repeat ...........
Any queries, suggestions, etc - please see Jon Nicholls, or send an email.
