On some Tuesday afternoons, we will run a "Bid & Natter" session in the Green Room, in parallel with normal Bridge in the Hall.  The first one is October 28th 2025.  The trial process is:

1. players sit at a table and bid the first hand
2. as each bid is made, the others say what they understand the bid means - eg. 2♥  - "weak, 6-10 points, 6 card suit" - the bidder can change their bid if they wish
3. when the final contract is reached, LHO leads, dummy goes down, and declarer says how they would plan to play the hand - discussion, but not playing the cards
4. see the results from the Thursday beforehand
5. review of the bidding
6. repeat ...........
