2026 Wednesday Club Championship

Congratulations to Howard Horowitz and Peter Brodie, winners of the 2026 Wednesday Club Championship that was played over three rounds, with a winning 53.90%.  In close second place were Roger Snaith and Ray Harding with 53.51%, followed by Derek Holmes and Magdalen on 49.89% in third place. 
 
2026 Wednesday Winter Pairs

Congratulations  to Peter Wong and Alec Gillespie, winners of the 2026 Wednesday Winter Pairs which was played over two rounds, with a winning percentage of 63.30%.  In close second place were Roger Snaith and Ray Harding with 62.65%, followed by Dianne Stockley and Sharon Beavon on 54.17%.
2026 Wednesday Autumn Pairs

Congratulations to Bob Birch and Peter Lameks, clear winners of the 2026 Wednesday Autumn Pairs which was played over two rounds, with a top percentage of 67.31%. In second place were Drew and Carolyn Fitzpatrick with 63.30%, followed by Dianne Stockley and Sharon Beavon on 50.48%

Congratulations to Peter Wong and Alec Gillespie, clear winners of the 2026 Wednesday Summer Pairs which was played over two rounds with a top percentage of 65.38.  In second place were Dianne Stockley and Sharon Beavon with 58.33%, closely followed by Neville Bain and Peter Budd on 55.51%.
2025 Wednesday Spring Pairs

Congratulations to Bob Birch and Peter Lameks, winners of the 2025 Wednesday Spring Pairs that was played over two rounds with a top 59.52%. In second place were John Apthorp and Lionel Murray on 58.01%, closely followed by Roger Snaith and Ray Harding with 57.85%.

About Glenbrook Bridge Club Inc

Glenbrook is located 70 km to the west of Sydney CBD in the foothills of the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains.

The Glenbrook Bridge Club was founded in 2009 as a social Club and became affiliated with the Australian Bridge Federation (ABF) in 2010.  It currently has 101 members.

Play Bridge in a friendly, relaxed environment with Glenbrook Bridge Club located at St Finbar’s Catholic Church Hall, 46 Levy Street Glenbrook, on Wednesday evenings at 6.40 pm for a 7.00 pm start, Thursday afternoons at 12.40 pm for a 1.00pm start and on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 12.40 pm for a 1.00 pm start.  Players of any age and ability are most welcome and lessons are provided for beginners.   For further information, contact Carmel on 0412  207 901 or Roger on 0412 135 572.

Bridge Lessons

There will be a course of 10 x 2 hour lessons for beginners commencing on Monday 9th March at 6.30pm to 8.30pm at a venue to be advised and continuing on the following nine Mondays.  There  is a fee of $100  to cover overheads.  If you are aware of anyone interested in attending the lessons, please ask them to call Roger on 0412 135 572 or Carmel on 0412 207 901.

Congratulations  to Ray Harding and Anna Olszewski, narrow winners of the 2026 Thursday Winter Pairs which was played over two rounds, with a winning percentage of 56.48%%.  In close second place were Roger Snaith and Catherine Gordon with 56.00%, followed by Ernie Newman and Bob Birch on 54.95%
2026 Thursday Autumn Pairs

Congratulations  to Alan and Tammy Schwarz to winners of the 2026 Thursday  Autumn Pairs which was played over two rounds with a winning percentage of 65.44%.  In second place were Kelela Allen and Susan Capp with 63.66%, followed by Ray Harding and Anna Olszewski on 61.33%.

Congratulations to Kelela Allen and Susan Capp, winners of the 2026 Thursday Summer Pairs which was played over two rounds with a top percentage of 63.08. In second place were Ernie Newman and Bob Birch with 61.89%, closely followed by Alan Schwarz and Tammy Schwarz on 60.19%.
2025 Thursday Club Championship

Congratulations to Frances Lessels and Kathy Mitchell, clear winners of the 2025 Thursday Club Championship with a 58.02% score.  In second place are Neville Bain and Jill Martin on 53.32%, closely followed by Heather Curtin and John Boyce on 52.62%.
