Getting back to "Normal" |
This year has seen a steady increase week by week on the numbers attending our tournaments. On average we are getting 16/17 tables every Wednesday afternoon - by far our most popular session.
Monday nights and Tuesday afternoons have between 4/6 tables; Play & Learn remains very popular on a Wednesday night and the Wednesday evening tournament generally attracts 4/6 tables.
We'd really love it if more of you would support our Monday & Wednesday evenings and Tuesday afternoon events.
Despite going through a really hard time, Liz has continued to be a mainstay of our club, supported by her sister Nora and grandson Max. Thank you Liz!
It's great that we are now seeing members coming along, even when they don't have a partner, and being matched up either with another member or with our "standby". Please remember to contact Frances if you are able to volunteer for a standby date.
Best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year
