HIGHLY PARTICIPATIVE ONLINE LESSONS ON BRIDGE CARD PLAY COVERING DECLARER PLAY AND DEFENCE

Bridge learning requires a lot of time spent on bidding, with perhaps not enough time and emphasis on card play as well.  This course allows players to improve their declarer play and defence, in order to improve their score and also the enjoyment of making overtricks or defeating opposition's contract.

Please book here to take part in these highly participative online lessons on Card Play.  These sessions will go ahead with a minimum booking of 10 players.

Each lesson with start with a Zoom session to go through the topic and play of some demo hands on specific techniques,  followed by play on a Teaching Table on BBO.

The session will then continue with a Teaching Table on BBO where players will be invited in turn to play, while others watch the play of all 4 players on Zoom (the BBO table will be shared on Zoom) and hear the commentary.  Players have found this approach very useful, because they are able to either play or observe all the practice hands and ask questions at any stage.

The Zoom lesson will be recorded and the link sent to all participants, so if you miss a session, you will still get the link.  There will also be some colourful notes or slides summary emailed after each session.

The lesson will start on Wed 5 Oct at 9:30 am and continue each week until Wed 7 Dec (10 lessons).  If there is a cancellation for any reason, an additional session will be added for 14 Dec.

You can join as an individual rather than as a partnership.

The cost of the 10 lessons, is £15 per lesson, and has to be paid by 3 Oct.  Individual lessons can be booked at a cost of £17 per lesson, with a minimum booking of 7 lessons.
