PLAY, REVIEW & DISCUSS DUPLICATE EVENTS 

Every Wednesday on BBO Starting at 10.15am

All players are welcome - just turn up and register in the normal way as for all FOBC duplicate events. Then go through the hands you have just played, afterwards with an expert on Zoom

GETTING STARTED
  1. To get you started we need your:

    • Name

    • E-mail address

    • EBU number (if you have one

    • BBO username

    • Primary F2F club of allegience (any other clubs where you may play)

 

If you use the contact us link to register your details. You will then receive a welcome email with your password to log into the members area of the FOBC website.

 

2. If you are new to BBO and your are opening a new account, your profile needs to include your:

  • First name & surname
  • FOBC member also needs to be added to yiur name or included somewhere within your profile page (we have advised BBO/MSN that all members will do this to identify themeselves when playing in the MSN room)
  • Skill Level - please be realsitic as this will help the FOBC organisers
  • Your prefered system and conventions that you understand and like to play

 

3.  Other items which will be important for you to quickly learn and understand about BBO:

  • For all other FOBC Members please  make them 'Follow/Friends' - this makes it easier for you to locate them and they for you
  • BBO Chat facility - it is vital that you learn how to communicate with other members and players and how to use all other different chat functions
  • Acronyms - to type and communicate quickly FOBC have a compiled a list of commonly use ones elsewhere with the club website under the BBO section
  • All FOBC members agree to courteous and friendly at all times toward all partners and opponents, whether they be members of the club or not
  • NEVER LOCK YOUR TABLES when playing in the MSN room or when playing in any FOBC league matches, or any events associated with the club. It is unnecessary. If you wish to play with or against any particular player(s) then please reserve a seat fro them
  • MSN ROOM - learn how to find this as FOBC use this room to play all pairs league matches (not teams these are played elsewhere), Assisted/Supervised play sessions, Mentoring Sessions, Bidding & Teaching tables
