Like every good idea ' the word' soon spreads around and before long 'people' do eventually hear about what is happening.

The FOBC concept is no different, and as the lifespan of the club grows, so does its membership by  'word of mouth' and 'personal recommendation' 

Therefore whilst the FOBC reputation continues to circulates far and wide, we have put together here, a small sample of some of the emails and comments that we have received:

• Really enjoyed presentation today and it must have been good as it drove my wife to forgo gardening for some time to come and sit beside me and watch.  Could not believe it but was playing on BBO this afternoon and guess what happened - partner 1NT - me 21pts 5NT- partner takes it to 6NT.  Only one other hand reached this most only achieved 4S.  Well pleased. • Thank you for letting us know about this initiative. I have forwarded the email to the Club’s Chair and Secretary and they will decide whether to forward it to members.
